LEVODOPA (LEVODOPA/BENSERAZIDE YDROCHLORIDE)-RELATED RESTLESS LEGS SYNDROME: A CASE REPORT
Restless legs syndrome (RLS) is characterized by an urge to move the legs and by unpleasant paraesthetic sensations deep in the legs, occurring unilaterally or bilaterally, usually occurring during periods of rest or inactivity, particularly in the evening and at night.RLS may be idiopathic or secondarily associated with iron deficiency, chronic kidney disease,pregnancy,peripheral neuropathy, excessive alcohol or caffeine use, tobacco use and drugs, as well as with administration of typical and atypical antipsychotics.
