Whole Genome Sequence of Two Bacillus Cereus Strains Isolated from Soy Sauce Residues Saccharide
Two distinctive Bacillus cereus strains were observed to survive in soy sauce residues whereas the salt concentration was approximately 10%.The strains were survived mainly on the saccharide as the source of carbon in the soy sauce residues. To investigate the mechanism of salt resistance, the B.cereus were isolated and further studied for whole genome sequence. After mapping analysis with the reference genome.(B.cereus ATCC 14579)and various functions, the genes potentially responsible for bacterial salt tolerance were summarized. This study may aid in further investigation on addressing mechanism of Bacillus salt tolerance.
