Development and validation of high performance thin layer chromatography fingerprint method analysis of Stemona sessilifolia (Miq.) Miq.with the reference of protostemonine
High-performance thin-layer chromatographic (HPTLC) method for analysis of the protostemonine from Stemona sessilifolia (Miq.) Miq.has been developed and validated.Chromatogram of Fingerprint mutual mode of S.sessilifolia sample HPTLC showed that 12 common peaks among 10 batches of samples with average Rf range from 0.02 to 0.95.And 10 different batches of samples were stable and reliable in quality which all the similarities more than 0.98.The results indicated that this method was sensitive and precise for the quality evaluation of S.sessilifoliasamples.
