Outcome of catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation in patients with prior ischemic stroke

摘要：

Background Catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation (AF) has been demonstrated to be effective in subsets of patients with AF, but the data on long-term outcome of catheter ablation in AF patients with a history of ischemic stroke are limited.The purpose of this study was to describe arrhythmia recurrence and incidence of recurrent stroke after catheter ablation in AF patients with prior ischemic stroke.
