Association between coronary local oxidized LDL levels and smoking in patients with coronary heart disease in Chinese men

Background Oxidized low-density lipoprotein (ox-LDL) is thought to contribute to the endothelial dysfunction and pathogenesis of atherosclerosis.The aim of present study was to investigate the cardiac oxidative stress, cardiac endothelial injury and their correlations to clinic manifestation in long-smoker patients with CHD.To explore the relation of the plasma ox-LDL level and cardiovascular risk factors in long-smoker patients with CHD.
