Background Ventricular septal rupture (VSD) complicating acute myocardial infarction has been studied primarily in small, we aim to review the clinical outcomes of 70 patients with VSR.Methods Clinical data of seventy patients with ventricular septal repture complicating acute myocardial infarction in our hospital between January 2002 and October 2010 were analyzed retrospectively.
