Effects of an aggressive statin therapy on patients with coronary-saphenous vein bypass grafts: a systematic review and meta-analysis for randomized controlled trials
Background The long-term results after coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG) are development of atherosclerosis in native coronary arteries and saphenous vein grafts (SVG), and statin reduces the progression of atherosclerosis, improve survival and reduce the risks of cardiovascular events.This study was aimed to investigate the effectiveness and safety of aggressive statin vs.moderate statin therapy on-patients with SVG in randomized controlled trials (RCTs).
