Krüppel-like transcription factor 2 in rapamycin induced endothelial dysfunction
Background Stent thrombosis (ST) is a consistent challenge for percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in the DES era.The mechanism of ST is still not clear.A lot of research demonstrated the local effects of rapamycin in endothelialization delay and endothelial dysfunction which may be an important cause of ST.Krüppel like factor-2(KLF2) is a eukaryotic zinc finger transcription factor, it plays an important role in the maintenance of vascular endothelial function.
