Electroacupuncture exert pre-conditional effects on ameliorating myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury through regulation of cannabinoid receptor type 2
Background Electroacupuncture (EA) has been widely accepted as a useful cardiac protection strategy with low or no risk in the clinical prevention of cardiac disease. However, the physiological mechanism underlying this protective effect remains unclear. The current study is aim to investigate the effects of EA pretreatment on myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (MI/R) injury in mice and its possible signaling pathway.
