Feasibility, safety and imaging quality of cardiovascular magnetic resonance examination early after reperfusion therapy in ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction patients
Background Cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) experienced a booming increase in cardiovascular fields recently.Besides its role as golden standard for functional assessment, CMR has special advantages over other investigations in acute myocardial infarction (AMI) regarding to its unique capability to visualize microvascular dysfunction, intramyocardial hemorrhage and necrosis area, and therefore become a powerful way to evaluate the effect of reperfusion therapy.However, Early CMR is still quite limited in AMI patients in China with the concern of safety and its impact on coronary stent.The presented data aims to demonstrate the feasibility, safety and imaging quality of earlyCMR examinaton inST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients with reperfusion therapy.
