Many guide wire extrusion and crow bar effect opened CTO lesions
Background To explore the success rate and the operating procedure key points of the new skills to open chronic total occlusion (CTO) lesions-many guide wire extrusion and crow bar effect to open CTO lesions.Methods From January 2010 to October 2012, 48 patients with coronary CTO lesions undergoing many guide wire extrusion and crow bar effect to treat CTO lesions were selected as crow bar group.From February 2007 to December2009, 72 cases with coronary CTO undergoing simple guide wire method to treat CTO lesions were selected as control group.All of patients suffered from unstable angina pectoris with 2-4 level symptoms lasting for six months.The gender,age and duration of vascular occlusion in two groups cases had not statistically significant difference (P ＜0.05).
