Background Hyperuricemia has been regarded as one of the symbols of the metabolic abnormalities, and might be associated with atherosclerotic process.However, hyperuricemia as an independent risk factor of coronary heart disease is still controversial.This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between serum uric acid (sUA) level and coronary lesions in aged patients with coronary heart disease.
