Analysis of the clinical characteristics in patients with left circumflex artery infarct-related ST-segment elevation and non-ST elevation acute myocardial infarction
Background Clinical outcomes of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) involving acute occlusion of the left anterior descending artery (LAD) and right coronary artery (RCA) are well studied, but less is known about acute myocardial infarction involving the left circumflex (LCX) artery. In the present study, we compared the clinical characteristics and outcomes between patients with LCX territory infarct-related ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) and non-STEMI (NSTEMI).
