Long-term outcome of stent implantation in 48 patients with carotid artery stenosis

摘要：

Background The aim of this study was to determine the safety and long-term efficacy after stent implantation in patients with carotid artery stenosis.Methods Fourty-eight patients with angiographic confirmed carotid artery stenosis were recruited from January 2005to December 2010.All stents were implanted into carotid artery with guidance of distal cerebral protection device in order to observe perioperative complacations and clinical efficacy.
