Effect and intervention of ACEI and aldosterone receptor antagonists on the osteopontin expression in rats with myocardial infarction
Background This essay is to observe the effect of ACEI and aldosterone receptor antagonists on the osteopontin expression of the non-infarcted area of myocardial infarction rats and their influence on the function of heart. Methods Establish rats in myocardial infarction model.Divide the rats which were still alive after 24 hours into five groups, namely, sham operation group (saline 5 ml/d), myocardial infarction group (saline 5 ml/d), fosinopril group (10mg/d), eplerenone group (10 mg/d) and the combined group (fosinopril 5 mg/d + eplerenone 5 mg/d), with ten rats in each group. After feeding them for 6 weeks, measure hemodynarnic parameters and cardial function parameters.Study the degree of myocardial fibrosis of non-infarcted area using histological methods.Examine the gene expression of osteopontin by applying RT-PCR methods.
