Cellular mechanisms underlying the differentiation of human umbilical cord derived mesenchymal stem cells into cardiomyodytes induced by 5-azacytidine
Background The aim of the study is to investigate the cellular mechanism underlying the differentiation of human umbilical cord derived mesenchymal stem cells (hUC MSCs) into cardiomyodytes induces by 5-azacytidine (5-aza).Methods hUC MSCs were isolated and purified from the umbilical cord of healthy full-term delivery fetus after the conset of puerpera by adhering to the culture dishes.hUC MSCs was induced by 10 μmol/L concentration of 5-aza for 4weeks.mRNA expression of Nkx2.5 and GATA 4 were analyzed by real time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).
