Transperianal Sonographic Appearance of Anal Cushions of Hemorhoids

　　PURPOSE : This research aimed to detect the diagnostic value of transperianal sonographic changes of hemorrhoid cushion in order to early findings and early intervention to hemorhoid before surgey.METHODS: 22 healthy attenders and 20 hemorrhoid patients with grade Ⅲ and grade Ⅳ received TRUS from January 2013 to February 2014 in our hospital.We have retrospectively analyzed Ultrasonographical findings of these attenders.RESULTS: All healthy attenders have no special findings.However, 18 hemorrhoid patients were full of blood signals around dentate line on Color Doppler Ultrasonography.On the same scanning plane, blood flow with different directions can be observed and looks like ”COLURFUL BLOCK”.
