Consideration on Spatial Fomation of Xiguan Dawu (西关大屋) Historical Area in Guanzhou

摘要：

　　This paper clarifies the spatial form ation and buiiding types of Xiguan daw u (西关大屋)Area in Guanzhou based on the field studies we carried out, which are mainly consisted of tw oparts, ie.one is on the distrbutions of facilities in the area and the other is on m easuring house plens and interview s to inhabitants.The one of the objectives of this paper is to discuss the transform ation process of streetb bcks focusing on the relationships am ong house types, ”Xiguan daw u”, ”Zhutongw u”and ”Q ibu”.
