Introduction of Canadian Forage Sorghum Hybrid 30 (CFSH 30)

Canadian Forage Sorghum Hybrid 30 (CFSH 30) produces better yields with excellent forage quality over a wide range of growing conditions.This hybrid has been tested widely across several locations in Canada and Southeast Asia over several years with no toxicity concerns and is safe under normal growing conditions.CFSH 30 is developed from Sudan type parents.It is high yielding fine stemmed, and will produce two to three cuttings during the growing season.It provides a wide range of uses to the grower.It may be used for hay, silage, green chop or pasture.This has excellent recovery after harvesting or grazing.Fine leafy stems make it an excellent choice for hay.The CFSH 30 hybrid developed has negligible levels of prussic acid and is safe to pasture.
