Effect of Different Dietary Energy Density of Pomace and Pulp on the Blood Index and the Content of Intramuscular Fat and Related Gene Expression in Growing Steers
The objective of the present experiment was to evaluate the effect of different dietary energy density of Pomace and Pulp on the Blood index, the Content of Intramuscular Fat,Hormone-sensitive lipase (HSL) and Lipoprotein lipase (LPL) mRNA expression in longissimus dorsal muscle of cattle.Group 1 (n=10) were fed diet high dietary density (6.64 MJ/kg, 11.07% CP).The other two groups fed intermediate dietary density (6.31 MJ/kg, 10.78% CP) and iowe dietary density (5.98MJ/kg, 10.33% CP), respectively. The results showed that: (1) IMF content was significantly increased with dietary energy density increasing (p<0.05).(2) The cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol and Low-density lipoprotein contents were significantly increased with dietary energy density increasing (p<0.05).(3) There were significantly positive correlations(p<0.05) between LPL mRNA expression and IMF content.HSL mRNA expression was significantly negatively correlated with IMF content.(4) HSL mRNA expression was significantly decreased with dietary energy density increasing (p<0.05) while LPL mRNA expression was significantly increased with dietary energy density increasing (p<0.05).Our data suggest that IMF content was increased with dietary energy density increasing, maybe alter Hormone-sensitive lipase (HSL) and Lipoprotein lipase (LPL) mRNA expression.
