PART 1 INTRODUCTION This paper utilisescomparative law to examinerecent developments in the Australia China investment relationship.Although the recently agreed Australia-China Free Trade Agreement (ChAFTA) has yet to be ratified by the Australian parliament, the ChAFTA has highlighted the need for China and Australia to deepen their investment relationship in a more comprehensive way.
