The Investigation for Antioxidant Properties of Isatidis Radix and Its Active Component
(0) Objective: Study on the anfioxidant properties and antioxidant activity of Radix Isatidis, extract of radix isatidis anti-aging, anti-tumor development in areas such as to provide the scientific basis.Methods: System of separation, from the extraction of flavonoids, polysaccharides, Polyphenol , alkaloids of Radix Isatidis and four ingredients polyphenols and Schaal oven-storage method, pyrrogallol autoxidation method and salicylic acid method for the determination of four kinds of extracts of radix isatidis by total antioxidant capacity, the superoxide anion (O2-.) and scavenging hydroxyl radicals (· OH).Results: Extract of radix isatidis on three types of fats are good oxidation resistance, and has a dose-response relationship; Vitamin C, citric acid and tartaric acid on antioxidative effect of extract of Radix Isatidis are synergies; Extract of radix isatidis on superoxide anion (O2-.) and hydroxyl (·OH) good scavenging effect and dose-response relationship; Alkaloid and flavone extract of Radix lsatidis respectively on superoxide anion (O2-.) and the hydroxyl radical (· OH) scavenging effects of the strong.
