Slide 1Thank you all for coming and for participating in the Smile Train program.We are honored to join in partnership with you to improve the lives of children in China.I would also like to thank the members of the Chinese medical advisory board for inviting me to speak on the role of the anesthesiologist in the cleft care team.This will be a general talk for the non-anesthesiologists in the audience.I will speak about the concerns that our specialty has in promoting safe anesthesia and preventing complications in the perioperative period.
