A method of derived TEC and instrumental biases from GEONET in Japan
The paper presents to derive the TEC over Japan, and estimate the biases of satellites and GPS receivers for GEONET system in 2006.An ionos-phere spherical harmonic function in latitude and longitude is used to fit the observation data. The set of equations can be obtained with the singular value decomposition (SVD) method. In order to demonstrate the performance of the proposed method,it is compared with the grid block method. The results show that the derived GPS-TEC with spherical harmonic function method is agreement well with the grid block method. The satellite biases are fitted well with CODE results. In the GEONET system,95.3% of the receivers whose standard deviation of receiver biases are smaller than 1ns in the whole year of 2006.
