Characteristic Analysis of Pseudorange Multipath Error for Beidou BOC Navigation Signal
Various modulation methods are adopted by Beidou navigation satellite system,such as BPSK and BOC.As a new signal modulation method,the BOC modulation method was adopted to enhance the capability of mitigating multipath.Multiple BOC methods including TMBOC,AltBOC and BOC will be tested in experiment phase of Beidou global navigation satellite system.The evaluation of the multipath mitigation performances with different BOC modulation methods is vital for the system.Based on noncoherent early-late processing track loop,the paper established the multipath error envelope model.With this model,the multi-path mitigation capability of TD-AltBOC and AltBOC in Beidou B2 at different frontend bandwidth was simulated and the multipath mitigation capability of BOC(1,1) in B1 data channel,TMBOC(6,1,4/33) in B1 pilot channel and Alt-BOC(15,10) in B2 were simulated,obtaining the envelop and mean of multipath error.To analyze the multipath error characteristics of actual satellite,the multi-path errors were extracted from the actual pseudorange measurements with double-frequency pseudorange and carrier-phase combination methods as the ground receiver simultaneously received BOC signals in B1 and B2.The test results indicated that the multipath mitigation performance of AltBOC(15,10) is bet-ter than TMBOC(6,1,4/33) and BOC(1,1),which was consistent with the simulation results.
