Synthesis of dimethyl carbonate from urea and methanol using ZnO/Al2O3 catalyst

摘要：

　　The supported catalysts were prepared by the dipping method for synthesis of dimethyl carbonate from urea and methanol.Among the catalysts, ZnO/γ-A12O3 catalyst showed excellent activity,the highest DMC yield of 42.1% (based on urea) was attained in catalytic distillation tower.The results of XRD characterization and regeneration experiment indicated that the supported catalyst had high stability.
