Preparation and photocatalytic performance of magnetic nano TiO2

  Nano-titanium dioxide photocatalyst has excellent performance,but it is difficult to recycle,which limits its application in industry.In this paper,nano Fe3O4 particles is prepared coprecipitation method and then Coated TiO2/C/Fe3O4 and TiO2/PANI/Fe3O4 composite particle is made using a low-temperature hydrothermal method with carbon or polyaniline as the isolation layer.Product structure was characterized by XRD and IR testing methods for.The magnetic photocatalyst property of TiO2/C/Fe3O4 and TiO2/PANI/Fe3O4 photocatalytic activity under UV and visible light irradiation to methyl orange is discussed.The results show that under UV irradiation,TiO2/PANI/Fe3O4 and pure TiO2 photocatalytic activity similar,but better than other magnetic photocatalyst;under visible light irradiation,TiO2/PANI/Fe3O4 photocatalytic activity of the photocatalyst was significantly better in the other magnetic pure TiO2 photocatalytic activity is the lowest;under acidic conditions,a high photocatalytic activity;magnetic photocatalyst prepared under the conditions of an applied magnetic field,can be recycled,reused once the photocatalytic activity slightly reduced.
