An Empirical Analysis for the Export of Jiangsu Province and Zhejiang Province on Environment
Based on generalized impulse response function from VAR model and VEC model, this article aims to study the interaction between Jiangsu and Zhejiang export (export in Zhejiang Province and Jiangsu Province of China) and five main industry pollution indexes.It turns out that the continuous increase of Zhejiang”s export did not increase pollution emission correspondingly, but on the contrary, it eased environment pressure;on the other side, Jiangsu”s environment worsened with export growing;meanwhile, when lowering the environmental standards or loosen the laws enforcement, the rate of Jiangsu”s export increase is smaller than that of Zhejiang”s.Finally, the author put forward some relevant suggestions on measure and policies.
