Prevention in Primary Care: New models to meet the growing needs
The growing epidemic of non communicable disease is directing more attention to the need for efficient delivery of preventive medicine within reforming health care systems.Evidence shows this can be achieved by promoting primary care and by increasing public health programmes and initiatives. To do this requires development of greater capacity within the health care system which in turn requires greater supply of appropriate skills.Such skills can be spread across different disciplines and by creating innovative approaches.
