Experimental Study and Motion Simulation of Biomass Particle on Fluidized Suspension Bed
In this paper,a new experimental device is designed. The corn cob and rice husk are carried out separately on a separate and mixed flow of fluid.Using FLUENT software, the gas-solid movement of the particle was simulated by Euler two-fluid model and mixture pressure, particle concentration; particle velocity was simulated on the bed.The experimental study results show that biomass can be achieved via fluidization. The separate fluid velocity is lower than mixed fluid velocity. When the fluidization on a mixed flow of fluid, the mass fraction is not the same, the fluidization state is not very different. The simulation study results show two different kinds of structure—dense phase and bubble phase—and they appear in the bed.Solid particles circulate in the bed.The cyclical changes of bubble formation and rupture are beneficial for mixing and separation of biomass. The fluidization parameters were simulated. The simulation of the bed indicates that the mixture pressure distribution has not changed in the bed; mixture pressure distribution is relatively stable with the change of time.Particle concentration and particle velocity has changed along the bed height variation.
