An Empirical Study on the Positive Impact of Higher Education Incentive Program of Teachers Work

  Currently,colleges and universities design incentive programs such as professional title promotion,research rewards,position promotion,class fees,training opportunities,spiritual rewards,and cash bonuses to mobilize the enthusiasm of teachers.These incentive programs and teachers” working enthusiasm have obvious positive correlation.Professional title promotion has the strongest effect on teachers” working enthusiasm.Research rewards,position promotion,and class fees also have strong positive influence on the enthusiasm of teachers.Cash bonuses have the weakest effect on the enthusiasm of teachers,followed by spiritual rewards; professional title promotion,position promotion,training opportunities have much stronger influence on teachers” research enthusiasm than on teaching enthusiasm; class fees and research enthusiasm are negatively related to each other.Research rewards and teaching enthusiasm is negatively related to each other.Therefore,the incentive programs should consider teachers” needs,schools” expectations,and schools” development goals.The incentive programs should guide teachers” behavior and coordinate with the schools” development goals and education ideas.
