Analysis of the Complex International Human Resource Management

  Nowadays, globalization has had a great impact on human resource management.Increasingly, international human resource management is being seen as strategically important in managing people at work.The purpose of IHRM is to make multinational corporation (MNC) to be successful globally.In this essay, through the introduction of IHRM theory including the four models of IHRM, the culture diversity, international staffing, as well as the five functions of international human resource management and the practices in UK and China, it is obvious that the politics, economy, technology,society produce the significant influence to IHRM.Due to the culture difference, MNCs should adopt the difference approach in managing people.In different countries, MNCs should adapt their policy and practice to local condition.
