TELENATURA: AN UNIVERSITY SPIN OFF ENTERPRISE IN THE AGRONOMY AND ENVIRONMENTAL SECTORS
TELENATURA company is a Technology-based Enterprise (TBE, Spin off) between two Spanish universities.This company offers technical support services related to crop production, environmental management and natural resources.Its main activities are: a) to elaborate software for automation in Agriculture and specifically automation in irrigation; b) to support services in precision Agriculture, where software, remote sensing and field measurement techniques are combined; c) support services based on automation and remote control for Public Administrations,companies and entities related to soil and water management and Environment.Some basis of the technology and methodologies used in the services of TELENATURA are based in research projects.These projects are developed by researchers of the Engineering Department of the University Miguel Hernández of Elche (Spain) and the Department of Food Engineering and Agricultural Equipment of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (Spain).
