Pattern Recognition Project Car Plate Recognition
Recently, the technology of car plate recognition has been attracting more and more attention with the developing of modem transportation.In this technology, plate allocation, character cutting, character recognition and later process are the key points.Due to the limits of memory space and computation speed, most previous technologies of plate recognition are based on the Gray Image processing.This requires reliable allocation of plate; a lot of methods were used, such as Hough Transform was used to detecting plate boundary.In this project, the allocation technology which based on the color information will be used.
