Research of Green Development Performance in the National Economic and Technological Development Zones
According to the data analysis of economy growth,resource consumption and pollution emission in the national Economic and Technical Development Zones (ETDZs),this study evaluated the green development performance including economic growth performance and,resources and environmental performance.It was found that the rapid economic growth of the national ETDZs had made a greater contribution to our country”s economic development with fewer burdens on resource and environment.And the intensities of resource and energy consumption and pollution emission in national ETDZs were significantly superior to the country”s level.In addition,the 54 national ETDZs were applied to evaluate the annual variation of green development performance from 2007 to 2011.During this interval,the economic output per unit of land area grew year by year.Water consumption and comprehensive energy consumption increased slightly,but their intensities decreased sharply.Meanwhile,the emissions and its intensities of COD and SO2 decreased significantly.The national ETDZs played a leading role in energy conservation and emission reduction,and keeping rapid economic growth.So the national ETDZs have achieved significant performance of green development,which have played a prominent role in leading our country”s green,low-carbon and circular development.
