Energy Efficiency Analysis for Users in Cell Edge Region in D2D Communication Under laying Cellular Networks
In this paper, we propose a power control scheme to improve the energy efficiency (EE) of users (UEs) located in cell edge region by decreasing the strong inter-cell interference for multi-cells system.Firstly,we apply resource allocation scheme by using the fractional frequency reuse (FFR) to allocate the available radio resource in the multi-cells system. Then we formulate two scenarios which are D2D UEs reusing radio resource allocated to cellular UEs in cell inner region and D2D UEs reusing radio resource allocated to cellular UEs in cell outer region.Lastly,we use the non-cooperative game theory to search the unique Nash Equilibrium between EE and power consumption.Numerical results are performed in a multi-cells environment and the EE performance in the two scenarios is simulated by varying the distance between D2D UEs.The results demonstrate that it is more preferable that the cellular UEs and the D2D UEs in cell edge region apply the power control scheme in terms of the EE.
