Ternary solar cells based on two distinct donor materials:P3HT and PCDTBT and one acceptor material:PCBM
Recently,there is growing attention in ternary solar cells.It is found that the open-circuit voltage of ternary solar cell can be largely tuned by varying the composition ratio of two donors (or two acceptors) integrated in.However,there is no detailed analysis for ternary solar cells composed of two donors (or two acceptors) with distinct properties.In this paper,Ternary solar cells composed of P3HT:PCDTBT:PCBM are fabricated,and the open-circuit voltage by varying the weight of PCDTBT is investigated.It is found that the open-circuit voltage of ternary solar cells with as-cast film shows a continuous increase from 0.68 V to 0.93 V,in contrast the open-circuit voltage of devices with thermal annealing shows a increase from 0.60 V to 0.87 V with the increasing of the weight of PCDTBT in the ternary mixture.The relation between the tunable behavior of open-circuit voltage and the weight of PCDTBT displayed in our ternary solar cells is investigated.
