Catalytic hydrocracking of extraction residue from Huolinguole lignite over Fe3O4/SiO2/Mg2Si magnetic solid superbase catalyst
A novel solid superbase Mg2Si supported on Fe3O4 magnetic core coated SiO2 catalyst was prepared.Phenyl benzyl ether (PBE) was used as a coal-related model compound to evaluate the catalytic activity. The results show that carbon-oxygen (C-O) bond in PBE can be specifically cleaved by the addition of the resulting Hwith MSS catalyst. The obtained Huolinguole lignite (HL) extraction residue was subjected to non-catalytic hydrocracking and catalytic hydrocracking over Fe3O4/SiO2/Mg2Si magnetic solid superbase (MSS) catalyst in cyclohexane, methanol, ethanol and isopropanol under pressurized hydrogen at 300 ℃,in sequence. The reaction mixtures were taken out from the autoclave to afford soluble fractions 1-4 (SF1-SF4),which were analyzed with a gas chromatography/mass spectrometer (GC/MS).The analysis results revealed that MSS catalyst can effectively enhance the contents of arenes, alkanes, alkenes and phenols and lower ethers and esters in the extraction residue, greatly increasing the heating value of the products.
