An Analysis of Medium Preference by L1 Learners in Doing Collaborative Writing
This study investigates interactional medium preference by L1 learners for completing a collaborative writing task in a media-rich networked classroom.Adopting a descriptive case study approach,it examines the influence of collaborative activity,student language proficiency and task time on medium preference.The analysis helps illuminate the complementary relationship between F2F and online interaction.The findings can help inform collaborative learning designs.
