English Fun to Share: Web 2.0 Platform to Foster Primary School Students Self-Regulated Learning in English Language Learning
This article presents the design and development of a Web 2.0 platform – ”English Fun to Share”.The aim of the current work is to foster primary school students” self-regulated learning in English Language over an online learning community.The system was designed according to a number of well-established learning theories,including social cognition theory,self-regulated learning and online learning communities.We illustrate how a Web 2.0 supported technology enhanced language learning environment can be developed under the reviewed theoretical framework.
