Survival Advantage With the Addition of Radiation Therapy to Chemotherapy in Early Stage Peripheral T-Cell Lymphoma, Not Otherwise Specified

　　Patients with early stage peripheral T-cell lymphoma, not otherwise specified (PTCL-NOS) have a poor prognosis, and data on early stage PTCL-NOS are lacking.This study describes the outcome in such patients in detail for the first time, to our knowledge.Thirty-five patients with early stage PTCL-NOS were included.A valuable finding from this study is that the addition of radiation therapy to doxorubicin-based chemotherapy significantly improved overall survival and progression-free survival.
