Research on the relationship between leptin and the Pulmonary function in acute exacerabation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Objective To explore relationship between leptin and the Pulmonary function in acute exacerabation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD).Methods 35AECOPD patients (AECOPD group), 38COPD patients in statinary phase(Statinary group) and 30 healthy aged people were selected.The serum leptin, Tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) and C-reactive protein(CRP) were detected.Pulmonary Function Test were taken.The correlation between the serum leptinl evel and TNF-α, CRP, lung function index were analyzed.Results ①The serum leptin and CRP, TNF-α in AECOPD group were higher significantly than those in Statinary group and Control group.The pulmonary function index-FEV1、 MVV、 DLCo were lower significantly than those in Statinary group and Control group.②The serum leptin level in patients with COPD had positivec orrelation with CRP, TNF-α, and had negative correlation with pulmonary function index-FEV1、 MVV、 DLCo.Conclusion leptin is predictors of lung disease, and may be useful for assessing risk of impaired lung function.
