Heat stress induces GDF9, GDF15, Pdgfa, Vegfa, Alb, Egfr expression in rat small intestine and in rat IEC-6
”Aims” :The present study was to detect the expression of GRFs when suffering heat stress both in vivo and in vitro.”Method” :We employed GRFs expression with Realtime-PCR and morphological changes in response to heat stress in vivo and vitro.”Result” : Heat stress treatment leaded to intestinal mucosal epithelial shedding,exposing the lamina propria.The genes expression of Growth differentiation factor 9 (GDF9), Growth differentiation factor 15 (GDF15), platelet-derived growth factor a (Pdgfa) and vascular endothelial growth factor A (Vegfa) were significantly increased after heat stress.On the contrary,gene expressions of albumin (AIb) and epidermal growth factor (Egfr) were decreased after heat stress.”Conclusion” :Heat stress induced GRFs including GDF9, GDF15, Pdgfa,Vegfa,Aib, Egfr expression both in rat small intestine and in rat IEC—6 cells.
