Research on Power System Small Signal Stability and Damping Characteristic Considering Load Characteristics
The effect of the dynamic and static load characteristics on the damping torque of low frequency oscillation in large power grid is analyzed.The dynamic and static load models are proposed.The damping torque analysis method is used to calculate the damping torque coefficient for both dynamic and static load models, and the detailed expressions are given.The damping torque and frequency of the oscillation modes in four-machine two-region system are calculated and simulated for different load models.The conclusions are tested under 200g”s low-flow operating mode of Central China Power Grid and the results are consistent with the theoretical analysis.
