Preparing process and properties of poly(N-vinylcarbazole)(PVK) polymer emitting layer using Langmuir-Blodgett films technique
The organic luminous layer arranged highly orderly plays an important role in enhancing the luminous efficiency of OLED.Since the vacuum evaporation process requires vacuum environment and is only suitable for micromolecule material,while spin coating process is only suitable for macromolecule material,we decided to obtain the organic luminous layer arranged orderly by Langmuir-Blodgett (hereafter referred to as LB) film technology.We prepared multilayer organic films on ITO substrate by LB film technology with polyvinylcarbazole (PVK) and lauric acid (AA).And then we tested the structure and characteristics of luminescence of LB films with step profiler and fluorospectro photometer etc.The results demonstrated that the thickness of monolayer films and multilayer films prepared by LB film technology reached respectively 60 to 70 nm,and 100nm,which met the requirements of OLED (organic light-emitting device).The orderly molecular arrangement of the organic film prepared by LB film technology largely strengthened its optical and electrical properties.
