Moving object detection method based on microwave and ultrasonic sensors

  Detecting human movement accurately is the basis for Interactive LED lighting control.The paper presents a moving object detection method based on microwave and ultrasonic sensors,in order to realize the interaction between human and LED lighting,this paper provide a new solution.In this paper,we use the multi-channel microwave sensors and ultrasonic sensors at the same time,one microwave sensors and one ultrasonic sensors Combined into a single sensors unit.We make a lot of the sensors unit to build a multiple sensor system.In cooperation with low-power microcontroller and RS485 field bus,we can form a complete moving object detection device.When the microwave sensor detects a moving object in the detecting area,the ultrasonic sensor will be started immediately to confirm the moving object’s position,and the ultrasonic sensor also can detect the stationary object.So you can get the moving objects’ distance and velocity information.The sensor unit can be freely customized,the density is smaller the detection accuracy is higher.The code in the microcontroller provides a complete set of anti-jamming algorithm to improve the resolution of the system.The pressure sensors,pyroelectric infrared sensors and other detection techniques based on visual image have a lot of problems like hard to install,anti-interference and expensive.This method has some advantages,such as the strong anti-jamming capability,the small size,the accurate detection and so on.Specially for low speed moving target in complex lighting conditions,its position and velocity information can be detected accurately.
