Interface Engineering of Hybrid Tandem White OLED
1,4,5,8,9,11-hexaazatriphenylene-hexacarbonitrile (HATCN) has been widely used recently as a p-type connecting unit in tandem OLEDs.It has been proven that HATCN could help reduce driving voltage and enhance device efficiency and operation lifetime. However, the underlying mechanism for the device improvement particularly the interface electronic structures is seldom reported. Thus,in this paper we investigate the interface structures between HATCN and its n-type connector by ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy (UPS) with the aim to further optimize the device performance of hybrid tandem white OLEDs.
