Esthesioneuroblastoma Metastatic to Breast and Axillary Lymph Node
Esthesioneuroblastoma is an extremely rare malignant tumor of the nasal cavity with the characteristic of local invasion.Distant metastases of this disease are observed commonly to lung, brain and bone; in contrast, metastases to breast and axillary lymph node are infrequent.In the present article we reported a case of a young woman, who was diagnosed with esthesioneuroblastoma that was metastatic to breast and axillary lymph node and treated in our hospital in July, 2012 and discussed the current situation of the diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
