Current Situation and Development Strategy of the Beef Cattle Breeding Industry in China

　　As one of the emerging industries after China”s reform and opening up, the Chinese beef cattle industry developed rapidly and possessed great potentialities.However, several problems still existed, which involved insufficient fine-varieties, the imperfect breeding system and methods, and the week basic production linkage in beef cattle industry.This paper comprehensively analyzed the present situation in Chinese beef cattle breeding industry and provided its countermeasures and suggestions, including enhancing constructions of the fine beef cattle breeding system, increasing the government investment and the macroeconomic control, improving scientific innovation and the popularization of advanced technology, and promoting constructions of breeding talent and extension teams, etc.
