On Universal Number of Heaven and Earth,Leibniz”s Universal Character and Universal Turing Machine

摘要：

　　In this article the Universal Number of Heaven and Earth (UMHE) in Yijing”s Chengguafa, i.e., a short piece of algorithm of how to make a gua (divinatory symbols) is discussed in respect to Leibniz”s Universal character (UC) and Universal Turing machine (UTM).It is concluded that UMHE, UC and UTM could be regarded as equivalent and thus open a new approach for the mathematical study of Yijing to the modern computer and infomation sciences.
